The W.A.L.T add detail in my writing

1 thing I have learnt in Maths was the order of operation and say if you get a Question like 5+9x4 😳 you work out the 9x4=36 first and then the 5+36=41 so the answer is 41.

1 thing I need to work on is my reading level and get it to level 6 by the end of the year.

1 thing I have enjoyed is starting my hacky sack in sewing.

The Beach Day

Yesterday the class went to the Otaki beach and did IRB, CPR, a Rubbish clean up, Swimming, Chubby bunny, Flag game, Human Pyramid, Weetbix Challenge and Boogie Boarding.
The lifeguards were Cassie, Sophrose, Lisa, Damian and Kirsty.
Chubby Bunny is when you put marshmallows in your mouth and say Chubby Bunny till you can't not more.
They learned what D.R.S.A.B.C was. The D stands for Danger that means you cheek for any danger around you that could harm you. R stands for response so you try and talk to them in case they are just sleeping. A stands for airwaves which means you cheek if they have something blocking their airwaves. B stands for breathing so you cheek if they are having trouble breathing.

and C stands for CPR.

R.O.A.R is Respect, O.C Pride, Active Learner & Responsibility.
Respect is when you listen to who is speaking and not talking while they are.
O.C Pride is when you show pride in what you are doing.
Active Learner is when you are learning and listening really well.
Responsibility is when you wear the right uniform.

My Holiday

During the holidays I went to my Omas house. She lives in Reporoa and it takes 5 hours from my house and 6 hours from my dad's house (Which is in Khandallah.) I went up with my dad and his flatmate Alice. When we wore on the dessert road I stared to tell riddles it takes forever to get from one riddle to the next riddle. When we got to the gas station in Te hapē we had Lunch which was ham With greens it was the best sandwich I have ever had.
When we arrived in Reporoa I got my stuff and put it in my room and went to the dining/kitchen area. Later that day after Alice when camping with her parents for 8 days my Oma gave me some pens and paper and told me that I needed to make a card for my great Oma who lives in Holland, and one for her niece who also lives in Holland. On the 4th I had to go to town while my Oma went to a meeting. When she picks my dad and me up we had lunch and then went to pick my friend Niamh, Later that day Niamh and I went to go and play hide 'n' seek with the calves on the farm it was fun and funny.

Revolution tour

Revolution tour

Has Revolution tour come to your school? They have come to my school and it was cool I thought it was awesome.

My favourite parts were the story about a person called Matt who had something bad in front of his brain so he had it taken out and after it made if blind, the other one was when they wanted to find the best dancers in O/C.
❤️ I loved it a lot and learnt that 'We make a living by what we get and we make a life by what we give'

Act Of Kindness

My act of Kindness I would like to aim for is to be a Hard Worker  & Offering or looking for help. Right now I am at Level 3: SELF MOTIVATED TO SHOW KINDNESS

1. Tidying the room without being asked.
2. Being helpful & a good listener.
3. Trying hard to improve skills by having a go.
4. Trying to be a good role model for others.
